  Life at S.T. & T REGENCY Schools

Motivation: - To give all that has been entrusted to us for the generation to come and beyond.

STT EDUCATION WAS FOUNDED IN 1996 with a service sense of vision to provide children with an education that would stand them in good stead in their lives after school.

All the students will be in six main houses, Mandela, Nkrumah, Azikiwe, Awolowo, Jomo Kenyata, etc. and two day Houses, yet to be named. House loyalty will be emphasized, self worth and esteem imbibed when a student represents her house in one of the many Inter - House competitions. Each House will have a Housemistress, who, together with her assistant and team of House staff, will ensure a high level of care for each and every student.

The school day will start with break fast at 7.20 am and the day students will arrive to register in their Houses by 8:00 am.  Devotion every morning at 8:00 - 8:20 am. led by the houses will provide a time for the whole school to gather in quite contemplation. Formal lessons finish at 3:15 p.m. and lunch follows immediately. After relaxation over snack and beverages etc, the students will do their prep and take part in one of the myriad of clubs and activities on offer. Day students may leave at 6:30pm when the rest of the school have supper or at 4:30 p.m. on a Wednesday if they are not involved in any club activities. Then there may be more prep to finish, another club to attend or letters to write before bed. Saturday morning school starts for final year students (JSS3 & SS3) with breakfast at 9:10am and the day students register in their houses by 8:50 am. Lessons and prep finish at 12:40pm when the day students can go home if they have no further commitments.

DAY SUDENTS

STTR will be predominantly a boarding school, but we shall welcome day student from the local environs that would benefit immensely from the excellent facilities that only a boarding school could provide. The school day at STTR will be a long one and there is Saturday morning school. To avoid excessive traveling and overtiredness, day places will be of tremendous benefit to student living within a certain radius.

OVERSEA STUDENTS

All students whose parents live oversea must be full boarders. They must also have a guardian in this country that can take them out of school with an exeat or during holidays etc as the case may be.
